I have painted since childhood but a 3 year diploma course

in Graphics led to a career in commercial design until I was

able to paint on a full-time basis mainly using pastel.

I have always been inspired by the natural landscape- to

convey the wonder and excitement in a few coloured shapes

is an ongoing challenge.

My subject matter is nearby- the landscape of the New

Forest, the coast and inland waterways. Trees and water are

a constant inspiration.

I am a member of the Society of Women Artists (SWA) and
